I’ve spent most of my life naturally taking charge and organising things — whether that's in work, business or just life in general.
I love using simple tech, systems and automation to make life easier. With my 'menopause memory' I need to know I have a way of remembering what I would otherwise forget!

Even as a teenager I was organising things — I naturally ended up being the one making sure things were planned, structured and actually happened.
I went straight into office work at 17 and spent years in secretarial roles. The funny thing is, I never actually wanted to be a secretary, and I didn’t particularly enjoy it. What I didn’t realise at the time was that the skill I was using every day, that just came naturally to me — being organised, thinking logically, setting things up properly — wasn’t something everyone found easy.
I started my own business at 35 after losing my job. I'd dabbled in "side-hustles" over the years but this felt like an opportunity to take the risk and go all in. At the time virtual assistant work was still fairly new but it made sense to use the skills I already had, so I took the chance.
As the business grew, I realised something important - nobody had their processes written down. Everything lived in their heads, so when we took on new clients we had to create the processes from scratch just to be able to do the work for them.
That was the moment I realised how powerful processes actually are — not boring admin, but something that saves time, removes frustration, and stops everything depending on one person.
Over time, I found myself doing less of the hands-on admin work and more of the thinking behind it and that’s the bit I enjoy - helping people:
Get everything out of their heads
Set their business up properly
Create systems that actually work for them
Feel confident letting go of the things they shouldn’t be doing
Because your time isn’t scalable - and if your business only works when you’re working, that’s not freedom
Most solopreneurs think they need to do everything themselves — either to save money or because “no one else will do it properly.”
That’s the biggest mistake I see.
What you actually need is structure. You need systems that support your business, so you can stay in control without doing everything yourself.
I also believe:
Systems should fit you and your business — not be whatever someone else is using
You don’t need fancy tools — you need something simple that works
Organisation isn’t about perfection — it’s about clarity and consistency
Freedom comes from knowing things are happening as they should, without you constantly checking or chasing
Less stress. More headspace. More control.
That’s the goal.

Let me show you how to put some simple systems in place so things stop living in your head — and start running a bit more smoothly.
